The objectives of this Governance Policy are to; among others;

 

(a) promote the highest standards of governance in WIGTA;

(b) promote WIGTA members’ awareness about governance principles and practices;

(c) be responsible for all matters pertaining to governance for all Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) matters, dealing with any forms of sponsorships or investments, participation in exhibition and conferences, issues relating financial transactions, taxation including exemptions etc.

(d) encourage sound systems of internal control and information systems control to safeguard all the members activities, involvement of interested parties and public interest;

(e) promote sound financial reporting and accountability based on true and fair financial statements if necessary, duly audited by competent independent Auditors;
